An eight-week course centered on African American youth ages 11–18 in St. Louis. One 60-minute educator-led class each week, followed by about 60 minutes online between meetings. Build emotional regulation, respectful communication, safe responses to peer pressure and online conflict, gun-threat safety, accountability, and community leadership. Each module includes a short YouTube study, five-minute reading, worksheet, student and mentor discussion, and a ten-question exam requiring 90%. Youth learn to disengage from danger and seek trained adult help; this course does not train youth to confront armed people. Eight modules, 16 planned learning hours.
